Our pieces are cut with a tailored European slim fit. Use the charts below to find your size — when in doubt between two sizes, we recommend sizing up and tailoring down.
How to Measure Yourself
For the most accurate fit, take measurements in light clothing with a flexible tape measure. Keep the tape snug but not tight, and ask someone to help if possible. Watch the video below for a full walkthrough, or jump straight to the written instructions underneath.

Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal and level under your armpits. Keep arms relaxed at your sides.
Waist (Men)
Measure around your natural waistline, just above the hip bone where you'd normally wear your pants. Don't suck in.
Waist (Women)
Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually about an inch above your belly button.
Hip
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear.
Neck
Wrap the tape around the base of your neck where a shirt collar would sit. Add 1/2 inch for comfort.
Sleeve
Measure from the center of your back, across the shoulder, down the outside of the arm to your wrist bone.
Inseam
Measure the inside of your leg from the crotch down to where you want the pant leg to end.
A note on European slim fit: Ron Tomson pieces are cut with a tailored European slim silhouette. If you prefer a more relaxed fit or are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Men's Suits & Tuxedos
Our suits and tuxedos are built on a Drop 8 fit — meaning the suit pants are always 8 inches smaller than the jacket chest (e.g., a US 40 jacket comes with 32-inch waist pants). This classic tailored silhouette flatters a modern physique and works across most body types. Standard sizes run US 36 through US 54. US 56 and larger are available through our custom order program — contact us for details.

Men's Pants, Leather Pants & Jeans
Pants are sized by waist measurement. Standard inseam is 32 inches — if you need a longer or shorter inseam, contact us for tailoring options.
A note about leather pants: Our genuine lambskin leather pants have minimal stretch. We recommend sizing up from your usual pant size for the most comfortable fit — the leather will soften and mold to your shape over time.
