    The RWS is a voluntary global standard that addresses the welfare of sheep and of the land they graze on. The RWS provides verification of the practices that are happening at farm level, giving brands a clear solution that will allow them a confident, safe and responsible solution in their wool sourcing. Ron Tomson uses 100% responsible wool for all suits, tuxedos, and jackets.

    Ron Tomson choses to contribute to the conservation and rational use of raw materials. We offers products made of 100% recycled fiber, GRS certified.     social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.

    • azoic coloring agents, formaldehyde, cadmium, nickel, etc.

    Standing for "Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha" YKK is a zipper manufacturer founded in 1934. YKK zippers are prized in the garment industry for their impressive construction and reliability. The company controls every part of the zipper manufacturing process, holds a Higg Facility Environmental Module score and the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. Ron Tomson uses YKK zippers on Lather, general garments and footwear.

    Vitale Barberis Canonico is an Italian fabric mill established in 1663 located about 50 miles north of Turin in the northern Biella region. Amongst many other certifications the mill holds a RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARD, GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD and a WOOLMARK. Ron Tomson super 110's suits and tuxedos feature fabrics by Vitale Barberis Canonico.

    Redaelli Velluti is a family-run company on the shores of Lake Como, in Northern Italy’s Lombardy region it has a long, distinguished history of velvet in the European textile. All of Ron Tomson's Italian velvet jackets and tuxedos are sourced from ZDHC and BCI member Italian mill Redaelli Velluti.

    Vibram S.P.A. is an Italian company based in Albizzate, Italy, that manufactures rubber outsoles for footwear. Vibram is registered with the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) a European Union regulation. REACH addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. Ron Tomson Neoprene Racers II are made with Vibram soles.
