RON TOMSON + L.A.P.D CADET PROGRAM

The Cadet Program is a community-based crime prevention program that aims to empower youth, ages 13 to 17 years, and maximize their personal and scholastic potential through the emphasis of the program’s four cornerstones: Leadership, Academic Excellence, Ethical and Wise Decision-Making, and Community Stewardship. It is considered the LAPD’s signature youth program and has proven to be its most enduring.

We proudly collaborated with the Los Angeles Police Cadet Scholarship Foundation and our local Newton Police Station by tailoring and donating our wool suits to the graduates of disadvantaged schools that are under their supervision.

Suits are tailored then donated to police cadets of our neighboring Unified School District like Jefferson High School.

Kids In The Spotlight

Since 2009, Kids In The Spotlight (KITS) has created over 85 films with more than 850 youth impacted by foster care, where they are given full agency to tell their stories, their way, by writing, casting & starring in their own short films. Then, each year culminates in our annual KITS Film Awards, the first Saturday of November, celebrating their films on the silver screen in our version of the Academy Awards. BISHOP VIRGIL D. PATTERSON SR.

Bishop Virgil D. Patterson Sr. is a pastor, musician, clothier, educator, gifted orator and overseer of the Crusade Christian Faith Center. We have been proud to support and collaborate with Bishop Virgil by donating new cloths to those who are coming out of hardship and in need of a fresh start.
California Fashion Foundation (CFF)

Scholarship support for existing industry scholarship programs to assist new entrants into the apparel & textile industry. Providing clothing for Operation School Bell through financial donations, donations of appropriate items from manufacturers’ stock, and by the manufacture by CFA members of specific items needed. Operation School Bell is a service of Anne Banning Auxillary Assistance League of Southern California, providing clothing and personal grooming products to children in extreme need struggling to remain in school. Funding school programs in areas of art & music, as well as academically focused intercession programs for year-round school. These intersession enrichment programs have been offered to schools and community development programs, where a significant portion of the children are from homes of apparel industry employees.
Freedom Loving Youth - FLY

Freedom Loving Youth was founded in 2012. The organization’s mission is to transform the lives of orphans and children in need worldwide. FLY focuses on neglected children facing tremendous poverty, abuse, illness, and injustice worldwide. FLY volunteers are dedicated to helping children in dire need At our core, we believe that no child deserves to suffer, no matter the circumstance.
